Licensed Bail Agent

Candidates should have 1-3 years of bail experience, highly motivated and extremely flexible. Interested individuals must demonstrate excellent bail sales techniques, outstanding negotiations skills, and great phone etiquette.

 

This role requires the Bail Agent to be in charge of contacting co-signers, processing, underwriting, and posting bail bonds.

 

Please apply only if you are a Licensed Bail Agent or have taken and current on the yearly (TAPBA) the Tennessee Association of Professional Bail Agents continued education class requirement.

   Job Requirements

​

 

  • Applicant must be a Licensed Bail Agent

  • Outstanding sales negotiations skill

  • Clean criminal record (must be cleared by TBI background check, drug screen and able to be appointed by TN Department of Commerce & Insurance and have current

  • Bail Agent License and Notary Public commission respectively)

  • Excellent phone etiquette

  • Must have a personally insured vehicle, a valid TN driver’s license, and a clean DMV record

  • Strong sense of urgency

  • Must have excellent problem solving skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours (evening and night shift a plus)

  • 2-3 Years of telesales experience (preferred but not required)

  • Experience processing financial paperwork (preferred but not required)

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish (preferred but not required)

  • Proficient in MS office and clerical duties

  • Attention to Details

 

 

   Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • 1-3 years of Bail Agent experience

  • Ability to generate sales and achieving sales goals

  • Process bail bonds

  • Phone calls

  • Making contact with co-signer(s) of bonds

  • Administer bond paperwork with co-signer

  • Travel to jails and/or courthouses to post bonds

  • Other projects assigned by management
